Why South Florida's Bands For Hands Music Festival Is Important

As more festivals, performances and concerts are canceled in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, musicians of all shapes and sizes are taking to social and streaming platforms to share some musical joy during these trying times.

With venues and bars on lock down across the country, South Florida is coming together to implement Bands For Hands Virtual Music Festival. Bands For Hands is an online music festival taking place Saturday April 18th created to benefit Hospitality Helping Hands. Hospitality Helping Hands is a non-profit restaurant group headquartered in West Palm Beach, Florida formed to help feed the hospitality workers, their families, local charities, and others in need following thousands of layoffs caused by the coronavirus shutdown.

The virtual festival will highlight local South Florida talent as well as national acts performing via live stream at multiple local venues. From there, you will be able to directly donate online to impact those in need in our community. Be ready to experience some of your favorite establishments from SubCulture Group, which owns 17 restaurants across South Florida.

As Bands For Hands Virtual Music Festival finalizes details, you can expect to be in the same room with Respectable Street, Voltaire, Lost Weekend, Camelot, Banko Cantina, and Guanabana’s. With multiple acts already booked, we’re excited to share over 14 bands, 11 DJs, and loads of local fun we’ve been missing out on.

Live Music: Live Music: Sons Of A Tradesman, KevOhm, Honeyvoid, Hijas De La Muerte, Violet Silhouette, Matt Brown, Sierra Lane Music, Allegra Miles, Summer Gill, Vagrant Son, Killed by Florida, The Wilkof Project, Migrate, Royal Hearts
