After his departure with Fleet Foxes, Father John's solo career has been nothing but a long term success. On the verge of releasing his fourth record Friday June 1st and being an internet troll on the side, Joshua Tillman has blessed us all with a mind altering music video directed by Niko Wiesnet that is designed to challenge the viewer.

"Mr. Tillman" has an eerie, mysterious, and sci-fi vibe where Father John Misty is quite literally trying to find himself in the world when a haunting hotel keeps throwing questioning challenges his way.

Lost Angeles based singer-songwriter, Father John Misty, has just shared a new music video for the third track on his recent studio album, Pure Comedy. The new visual, "Things It Would Have Been Helpful To Know Before The Revolution", follows a uniquely portrayed post-apocalyptic setting where a puppet is simply trying to find his way.

This powerful stop-motion was directed by the legendary Chris Hopewell, who is also known for working with artists like Radiohead and Run The Jewels. You can find the exact puppets used in the film up for auction beginning today as donation to the Environmental Defense Fund.
