The Weeknd Shares New Music Video Featuring Daft Punk

Canadian singer-songwriter, The Weeknd, is on the verge of releasing his third studio album titled Starboy. Today, the R&B pop musician revealed the first music video and single also titled "Starboy". The new track takes a slightly different approach with an upbeat tempo and a direct feature from the legendary French electronic duo Daft Punk.

Prior to the official release of the new visual, "Starboy" received a nomination for Best Video at the MTV EMAs just last night.

The new vid was directed by long-time Weeknd collaborator Grant Singer while produced by Nina Soriano and Julien LeMaitre. You can expect The Weeknd's new album Starboy Friday November 25th via Republic/XO Records. Come groove to this new joint and prepare for the most anticipated album this Fall below.

Daft Punk Plans To Release Documentary In America

Daft Punk, the iconic French electronic music duo released a documentary film in June which premiered on French television network Canal+. The film is titled Daft Punk Unchained and is planned to be released in the U.S. Thursday December 9th, 2015 on Showtime at 9:00 PM EST. Watch the worldwide trailer below:

Daft Punk Unchained is brought to us by director Hervé Martin Delpierre and co-writer Marina Rozenman. The film celebrates the successful path Daft Punk has taken from their early impact in the 1990s to their six-time Grammy Award winning music.
