Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival first made it's peep into South Florida with a Palm Beach Post Article September of 2015. Since then, there has been no news or further rumors going around until today.
Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival March 4th - 6th, 2016 is official! The new Florida festival is going to be located at Sunshine Grove, which is directly north of the city Okeechobee sitting on 800 acres of land. The festival has been brought to us by promoter Paul Beck, a curator for the world renowned Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival located in Manchester, Tennessee each summer. According to Peck, the Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival will be a three day outdoor camping event with art installations, VIP camping areas, craft beer, a white sand beach and lakeside bar, Florida's popular food trucks, and offer 80 artist performances dispersed throughout 5 stages on the festival grounds.
You can watch a promotional walk through video with views of the festival grounds on YouTube here.
There is very limited information out there about this anticipated event but stay tuned for the first phase of the lineup announcement in October.
