1. Getting There and Purchasing Your Ticket
Okeechobee Florida is a county one hundred years in the making, home of the largest lake in Florida, and a city that takes pride on creating a friendly atmosphere to provide the real meaning of true southern hospitality. Lucky for us Floridians, Okeechobee Music and Arts Festival is right in between Central and Southern Florida, leaving us for a small hike wherever we are to enjoy this Grade A scale event in our home state.

Now for the tickets, at this moment all general admission 3-Day Passes to the event are only $249.50, which includes three days and nights of the absolute time of your life. You can also purchase VIP and RV packaging tickets as well as a new 4-Day Pass for a special Thursday Pre Party. Keep in mind the prices will change come February 5th. Not only will you be on an ultimate vacation for the soul with tens of thousands of new friends to share it with but you will also be enjoying an all exclusive experience to the first annual five stage, 100+ artist, art filled, spirit gratifying, music festival extravaganza known as Okeechobee.

2. Setting Up and Learning Your Surroundings
When you are getting to the Sunshine Grove camping and festival grounds, make sure you have all of your necessary items for a joyful experience. Don’t forget to pack SUNSCREEN, sunglasses, comfortable clothes, tents, swim suits, your current favorite food items and beverages, festive accessories (frisbees, popular games, small scale instruments, beach balls, hula hoops, hats, etc.) your best dance moves and finest attitude.
Once your Okeechobee crew is in the process of setting up you’ll notice everyone around you will be experiencing the same thought process you may be going through. It’s okay to ask your neighbor for some help pitching your tent; it’s alright to ask how certain camping items work such as canopies, hammocks, or tricks to preserving your food. Remember, everyone will be thinking exactly what you are, where they are in relation to the rest of the festival and where the fun starts.
Well the fun starts right there with you and your surrounding peers. Crack a beer, a soda, a water, whatever you rock and start exploring the camping grounds with some new cats. Two of the official Okeechobee stages are actually located within the camping grounds and are on a 24-hour live music cycle. Therefore, we will have immediate access to Aquachobee Beach and the Jungle 51 Stage. GO THERE and you will find yourself hitting Friday at full force.
Even though the heavy hitting artists representing the music festival this year will not start until the following day, Thursday will be full of just as much fun as your entire weekend. We guarantee you that will be the case and you will come to realize this, Thursday night. Trust us!
3. Guaranteeing The Best Time
The biggest question and mission of them all is, how can I have the time of my life? Well here’s how you do it. Whether you attend the festival by yourself or with a group of friends, listen here. This festival isn’t just a musical experience, it’s a place where you can completely detach from all previous worries, problems, or issues that may hold you back. It’s also a place where being yourself is the only person you should be. This is your time to shine, your time to be the person you always want to be, the time you come to terms with a number of subjects in your life and simply let go.

Manic Focus, Twiddle, Swimm, Dungen, The Supervillains, Preservation Hall Jazz Band, Hundred Waters, Deer Tick, Youth Lagoon, White Denim, Lettuce, Nahko and Medicine For The People, Gramatik, Lotus, Dr. Dog, Bonobo, Portugal. The Man, Big Gigantic, Joey Bada$$, Mac Miller, Ween, The Avett Brothers, Bassnectar, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Robert Plant and the Sensational Space Shifters, Kendrick Lamar, Mumford and Sons.
Now the three remaining stages will be located throughout the festival grounds and carry nifty names such as ChobeeWobee Village, Moonlight Oasis, and The Grove. These are all hit party destinations where many of your favorite artists will be performing. Each stage will have a very unique feel to it with a number of new opportunities. Everything you do is a new opening for new opportunity therefore, a new good time. Don’t limit who or what you listen to because a new favorite band can be right around the corner. You know how it feels to hear something you really like for the first time? Well imagine that in a setting like this.
Not only are we benefiting from Grammy nominating artists such as Kendrick Lamar, Hall & Oates, and Robert Plant of Led Zeppelin but we are seriously turning up to the latest and greatest artists in the game right now. It's moving to know you are directly creating the culture of an inaugural event that plans to be relevant in our lives for decades to come. It is extremely imperative to stay positive, spread love, smile, high five, hug, dance, kiss, express and most importantly stay weird……… people tend to remember weird. Okeechobee will be FULL of grand surprises with legendary performances around the clock.
